When logging into my Google Analytics account today, I was treated with a nice surprise. A red link appeared that showed “New Version” was at the top of the page.
My first impressions are:
- Everything is laid out in a more intuitive fashion and related features go together
- It's easier to find the website profile you're looking for now that everything appears on the “Account Home” tab
- Pages load faster
- It's easier to go from profile to profile, especially ones that are in different accounts.
Overall, it's in standard Google fashion when it comes to updates: faster, easier, and more powerful.
Now if they could only allow people to move profiles from one account to another.
